A standard deck of 52 cards. Aces are both the highest and lowest cards.
This is a hand ranking from high to low. The following ranking is used in Texas Holdem, Omaha High, 7-Card Stud and 5-Card Stud. The highest hand wins the pot.
In Omaha High/Low and 7-Card Stud High/Low, the pot is divided between the highest and lowest hands.
Four of a Kind
If 5 communal cards produce a Four of a Kind, the highest card held by each player decides the winner. But if each player has the highest card lower than the fifth card on the table, the pot is divided among the players. For example, communal cards KKKKA, Player1:OJ, Player2: 1010.
If 2 or more players have a Full House, the one with the highest Three of a Kind wins the game. For example, table: KQQ36 Player1: Q3, Player2:b KK.
Player2 wins with the following hand: KKKQQ.
If 2 or more players have a flush, the one with the higher value suit wins. For example, table: 4 (spades)8(spades)J(spades)A(spades)2(spades), Player1: 5(spades)(6spades), Player2:9(spades)A(diamonds), Player3:K(spades),2(hearts)
Player 3 wins because he has the highest value flush: A(spades)K(spades)(Jspades)(8spades)(4spades).
If 2 or more players hav a Straight, the one with the highest High card wins. For example, table: 8910KA Player1:JQ, Player2: J7. Player 1 wins with 10JQKA.
If both hands are the same, the pot is divided equally.
Three of a kind
If 2 or more players have Three of a kind, the player with the best kicker wins. For example, table AAQ86 Player1: AK, Player 2 A10. Player1 wins.
If both players have the same high pair, the low pair determins the winner. If the low pair is also the same, the winner is decided by a kicker. For example, table KKJ24 Player1: JA ( KKJJA), Player2: J2 (KKJJ4). Player 1 wins.
If 2 or more players have the same pair, the winner is determined by the kicker.
If none of the players have managed to get any of the above hands, the winner will be determined by a High card.
For example, table: 58JQK Player1: A9, Player 67. Player 1 wins(AKQJ9).
If Players have cards lower than the 5 on the table, the pot is divided equally.
In Low hand , Aces are used as the lowest cards (1). Low hands are card combinations from Ace (1) to 8. A Low hand may also be a High hand at the same time (Straight or Flush). Such a hand may be the best Low and High.
The lowest possible Low hand. In case of 2 players possessing the same hands, the pot is divided equally.
Attention: The Low is determined by its High card. If High cards of 2 or more players are the same, the second High card is considered. For example, 34567 is a better Low handthanA2348.
